From pies in the face to farts, idiotic side kicks to temporary deafness (sets become sex, pressure becomes pleasure) Kambaqt Ishq is slapstick at its worst. A sample of the dialogues of the main protagonists- Kareena calls Akshay a dog; he calls her a bitch. From beginning to end the movie follows a loose storyline where lack of credibility is only one of its flaws. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor have both proved to be better actors than what this script deserves; Javed Jaffrey and a brief appearance by Boman Irani are completely wasted as comedians and one wonders whether Sylvestor Stallone even read the script before agreeing to do this film.
If you don’t like anybody recommend this film to him.

Ideas are short because they are developed within mind and need its own time to generate.
I wish ideas to be generated by Machines to buy & make a movie.

Tell me, what were you thinking when you thought about going to watch this movie? The trailer was so damn ugly that I could never ever dream of watching it!

Amit, I had gone for New York, unfortunately I didn’t get the tickets and I settled for Kambakht Ishq
July 8, 2009 at 10:38 am
Actually I agree with Amit. The trailer and the reviews were so bad that I knew it was bad. That was why I went!
To see how bad.
And the latest I hear is that the movie opened well. I guess people don’t trust reviewers anymore!

Nita, It would be sad if it works. We will have more of this nonsense in future if it is a hit. I am surprised that women are not protesting against the film.
