People who found Mika’s song about Rakhi Sawant funny here is something funnier!!!!

Last week King Juan Carlos of Spain asked the Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez to “shut up” at a summit in Chile. This flare up was the result of the president calling Spain’s ex-PM Jose Maria Aznar a “fascist”. This royal yet undiplomatic outburst at the Venezuelan president has become a ringtone hit across Spain. According to BBC news, around 500,000 people have downloaded the insult featuring the words “Why don’t you shut up?” generating a reported 1.5m euros ($2m). Branded mugs, t-shirts and websites featuring the row are making big profits.
In Chavez’s own country Venezuela, students opposing Mr Chavez’s government have also been downloading the ringtone according to reports in ‘Miami Herald.’

The King can do no wrong.

  • now he asked for that :P

    Couldn’t agree more :)

  • text is not as much fun as the actual voice… so why don’t you share a podcast of those golden words

I heard it on BBC news and couldn’t understand it. I don’t know Spanish :(

  • lol, text is fun already, I have to hear it now ;)

Same here. I would love to hear it too :) Rajiv.

  • I can start a business with this idea… make a deal with some royalty to hurl abuses at others during some summit, then give me the rights for the slurs…. 10% commision ;) he he he

If you make profit make sure I get my commision :) the idea was mine.

  • Prerna,
    What is ‘peccare’?

rambodoc, Rex non potest peccare is a latin maxim of sovereign immunity which means “the King can do no wrong” and peccare I believe means to sin.

  • wow! this is so cool.
Some physical action would have made this even better though ;)

Aren’t you tired of physical protests all around you @ amreekandesi?
